Closing Bell: Three Days Til Gifted Holiday Market Opens

The outdoor Flea season just ended but we're not missing a beat: We got the keys to the old Tower Records space on Lafayette and East 4th streets in Manhattan yesterday and our window dressers worked overtime last night to get the display for Gifted up right away. The holiday market opens this Friday at noon and runs through Christmas Eve every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. For more details about hours, location and vendors check out the website.

Remember when the BrooklynFlea was actually in Brooklyn?

Sorry to see it is in Manhattan. How can it be the Brooklyn Flea?

We searched high and low in Brooklyn for two months but couldn't find a space to do it in...Don't worry, it's only for a month. And we'll be having the regular Flea run concurrently indoors at 81 Front in Dumbo in December to stay grounded in our Brooklyn-ness...

Finally watched that Martha Stewart Brooklyn episode recently. She really did a nice job covering the Flea and other various Brooklyn gems. Can't stand her, but it was some great PR for the Flea and it showed very well.

Looks great, Mr. B. Will check it out for sure (even if it is the Manhattan Flea).

Sad to see it's not in Brooklyn, but good luck to you. Maybe I'll break my "no Manhattan" rule and check you guys out in that space.

Hi! I would love to be a part of this event! I love Lucky Mag AND the Brooklyn Flea! Can I squeeze in please? What am I gonna do with all these all era vintage gifts? It's cold out here!
Thanks for all you do Brownstoner!
