Streetlevel: Thai Food for Flatbush

A new restaurant's coming to 293 Flatbush Avenue (on the Prospect Heights side) and, according to the folks next door at Franny's, it's slated to be a Thai place. Unlikely to make headlines but possibly good news for the local take-out crowd. GMAP

PH is not without Thai restaurants. Udon Thai on Washington Avenue is tasty, reasonably price (read cheap) and they deliver.
After all, Flatbush and Vanderbilt Avenues are not the only commercial strips in the Heights.

Oh, good, an affordable addition to the neighborhood--as opposed to franny's.

dang, the owners appear to be korean, based on the permits posted. i was hoping for a korean spot, but i guess not.
:( loves me some good thai food, but for some reason, this part of brooklyn doesn't really have it.
