Streetlevel: Restaurant at 7 Old Fulton Street

7-Old-Fulton-Street-1009.jpg
It looks like there's going to be new restaurant (and wine bar) at 7 Old Fulton Street near Fulton Ferry Landing sometime soon. Approvals were granted earlier this year and this sign popped up recently in the window. With the line from Grimaldi's often extending halfway down the block, this can't be a bad location for another restaurant. GMAP

Hopefully not another 'speakeasy' style place

I don't think the tourists waiting in line at grimaldis will know that all new bars/restaurants in NYC don't have signs and everyone that works there look like 1920s paperboys.

Seems to me the "license to print money" business plan for this space would be...delicious brick-oven pizza for the hungry line-standers who despair of Grimaldi's!
