Streetlevel: Johnson Gourmet Deli

johnson-gourmet-deli-0909.jpg
This may be old news since we hadn't been down Johnson Street in a while, but it appears that there's a new Gourmet Deli coming to the retail space in the Toy Factory Loft at 176 Johnson. Anyone know anything about it? GMAP

Really good delis don't advertise "Gourmet."

Great sandwiches speak for themselves.

every deli in this damn city has delicatessens in its name. How is having gourmet any different?

A guy on the street told me it's being opened by the Johnson Deli across the street (the one precariously hanging into the vacant Oro II lot).

But then I asked the guy at the register inside and he said it's not the same people. So, who knows.
