I'll be the first to say it: She's got nice legs.

another dumpster shot!?

Posted by: bowl of dicks at September 16, 2009 8:44 AM

She looks to be "ultra white" to me. :) Remember the kitchen???

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at September 16, 2009 8:50 AM

Oh, that's where I left my legs!

Posted by: CarrollGardened at September 16, 2009 8:57 AM

I'm sure they've been in that position before, CGar.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at September 16, 2009 8:59 AM

Morning, dave ;)

Brooklyn Eagle needs a headline editor who can spell. It's capitol, not capital, in this context. Can't rely on spellcheck for that one.

"She's got legs, and she knows how to use them."

Was this woman on her way home from a Brownstoner get together? After meeting PLUSAs, you're just never whole again.

Can you give a girl a leg up? Jeez- what does it take to get some help around here?

"Voters Reject 3 Council Members Backing Longer Term Limits"

Nice trend here. Glad to see some of my fellow voters are paying attention.

no one is commenting on Acorn? totally horrible. more stealing from hard working taxpayers. political shenanigans.

despicable group.

Posted by: wine lover at September 16, 2009 11:15 AM

I disagree.. Acorn is not a despicable group. They have done lots of good work. And somehow they have been targeted but some rightwing demagogs.
Some employees may have done stupid things ....as any organization's employees have done. Probably not the best paid or educated or sophisticated. You are either some wingnut or have gotten a very slanted view based on superficial media reporting and manipulation.

Posted by: Petebklyn at September 16, 2009 12:04 PM

Acorn has done a lot of good all across the country. They've got a few bad apples - just like every other organization, corporation and political party. I can't stand Bertha Lewis either, but I wouldn't condemn Acorn for dolts like these.

Posted by: bxgrl at September 16, 2009 12:16 PM

I would totally condemn Acorn for dolts like these. The institutional culture there is clearly skanky from top to bottom, or their director wouldn't be whinging about entrapment. Good riddance to them.

Posted by: Brenda from Flatbush at September 16, 2009 12:24 PM

With that kind of thinking we wouldn't have an organization, corporation or agency in existence. Sorry- Acorn has accomplished a lot of good because it has many good people working in it. Just not these few.

Posted by: bxgrl at September 16, 2009 12:37 PM

I have worked directly with Bertha Lewis, formerly the head of New York Acorn and now national president. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences in all of my public life. Right now, I am having a 'strange bedfellows' moment, as politics will lead you to sometimes.
