There is really very little done in restitution for wrongly convicted people. I once heard someone (a layperson) say, "Better a hundred innocent people go to jail than one guilty one goes free." It gave the the shudders.
The prosecuters spend their evenings at home watching TV and sipping a cocktail while the railroaded wonder if their appeal will ever get through the docket.
