Streetlevel: Big Green Space on Baltic Now for Rent

We heard about this from a tipster on Monday but didn't get photos until yesterday by which point Pardon Me For Asking was already all over the story...Remember that eye-catching commercial structure on Baltic Street just off Court that we drew your attention to last February and that had more recently been rumored to be on its way to becoming a Chinese restaurant? Well, turns out the owner/developer had some kind of personal crisis (PMFA says a death in the family) and has put the place up for rent.

this would be a cool place for an art opening

i was thinking it is a weird space but a gallery is a good idea. there's a cute little (TINY) gallery on bergen i think. does anyone know if they're still open? maybe they'd move to bigger digs if they've been doing big biz.

CG ups I think you are referring to Shop Art on Bergen bet Boerum/Smith. They have a flea market in the back of the store - Has anyone been in there? I used to live next door and never went in once even when they had free wine. tsk tsk
