Washington Street Parking Lot No More

washington-street-parking-lot-0709.jpg
As of yesterday, there's a lot less parking available in Dumbo. The lot on Washington Street between Prospect and York that's been used for paid parking for the last several years closed on June 30 (as did the lot on the other side of the bridge earlier this year). The reason? DOT will be using it for its impending four-year overhaul of the Brooklyn Bridge.
