Cool! I haven't seen one of those bikes with the hot rod-style gear shifter since I was a kid! I wanted one of these SO badly but my parents would only spring for a "no speed." ARGH! By the time I was old enough to buy a "shifter model" of my own they were hopelessly out of style.

very cool bikes. unfortunately in L.A. where I'm from, they were mainly relegated to cholos and these tattooed hipsterish biker gangs.

Oh man, I had one of those when I was growing up. We called them "stingrays" if remember correctly.

I went to a lowrider car show in Southern California a few years back and there was a whole section for hopped up kids bikes...really cool stuff.
