Fulton Mall Make-Over Under Way

Cycling through the Fulton Mall yesterday, we noticed these workers taking apart one of the old bus shelters as part of the big $15 million Fulton Streetscape Project; in addition to new bus shelters, look for new streetlights, benches, bicycle racks and trees as well.

In this economy, is it a great idea to be investing in a shopping mall? I guess you have to take the long view, right?
