Streetlevel: Beri Empire Expands with Crown Heights Outlet

beri-outlet-061209.jpg
There's already a redberi store in Prospect Heights and a blueberi store in Dumbo. Now, as of two weekends ago, there's a beri outlet store in Crown Heights. Located at 500 Prospect Place, the 600-square-foot outlet will feature sale items from both retail locations. The phone number is 718-622-3494. Anyone been yet? You can see a couple of interior shots on the Crown Heights Blog.

Nice store. I went on opening day. Not cheap but nothing looks picked over even though it's on sale. Welcome!

I take the time to tell people about things I already know and expect them to know, but I am not willing to learn something new from other people who post here.

I am still searching for validation. Please love me.

This is Prospect Heights, not Crown Heights. The border is Franklin Avenue.

Sorry Big Jugs but Prospect Heights historically ends on the west side of Washington Ave. I know with all the those hipster kids moving in - it's a bit blurry. I wish this outlet luck but I think it's a poor location for that type of business, lovely residential block but the foot traffic is rather low. Would've been better on washington or franklin aves.

"Historically" Park Slope ended on Ninth Street. Or was called Prospect Heights: http://eagle.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=QkVHLzE4ODkvMDMvMTcjQXIwMTcxMA==&Mode=Gif&Locale=english-skin-custom It's a silly debate.

Anyhow, this is a nice little store, close enough to Classon for foot traffic discovery - I wish them well.

Considering the reviews given for blueberi and redberi, I wouldn't consider this a worthwhile posting. Hell, I'm wasting my time just typing this here.

living in Crown Heights gives you way more hipster cred.
