Streetlevel: 7 Eleven Coming to Greenpoint

The headline says it all: 7 Eleven is in the process of taking over the former Halpern-Perlow storefront at 883 Manhattan Avenue. The Greenpointers blog, which broke the news, is nonplussed: "As much as I know people are gonna jump on the hater bandwagon, I personally am not all that upset to see it coming. At least it's not another bank."

There's already a good amount of chain stores on Manhattan Avenue as it is (McDonalds and the dreaded Starbucks)
7-11 is awesome. Looking forward to grabbing a Slurpee when I'm up there.

I don't think nonplussed means what you think it means.
