Streetlevel: New Watering Hole for Atlantic Avenue

According to a small item on the Brooklyn Heights Blog last week, this storefront at 97 Atlantic Avenue is slated to become a bar called The Roebling Inn. The owners, who are rumored to be the same folks behind The Brooklyn Inn, have applied for a liquor license.

A friend of mine used to work at Magnetic Field and got mail delivered there; she lived in Crown Heights and I always wondered what her living situation was like. when I read the address I was like, where have I heard that before?

""oh, wellsies"? I guess cool is relative. Don't mind me, I was a regular at MF and grew up with one of the owners, so i'm partial. However, was never a big fan of Bklyn Inn or that crowd, so your assumptions may very well be correct. All in all, i am glad the space was finally rented.
