Duane Reade Signage Up at Northside Piers

More than a year after Curbed first reported that Duane Reade would be coming to Northside Piers, a "Coming Soon" sign has appeared in the Kent Avenue storefront window. The drug store joins a Mexican bar and a cleaners in the ground floor (see this post from April) of the Toll Brothers luxury condo complex.

Duane Reade, a dry cleaner and a Mexican restaurant. This is the new luxury development on the waterfront?

altervoce, I've never seen luxury in a building described as such. Its like when brokers use the word "stunning".

Wait, wasn't this supposed to be the first Brooklyn Apple Store?
Duane Reade is close enough though, right?

I think every new development in Brooklyn has at one point had a rumor that Apple would be in the retail space.
I believe the Edge holds that crown right now.
A duane reade and dry cleaners are much needed in this area.

Oh right. It was probably the Edge.
I agree DH, the things coming here...Duane Reade, cleaners, etc all sound like much needed things in this neck of the woods.
I just hate Duane Reade with a passion.

Well, if it keeps prices at Kings down a bit, I'm ok with it.
