Development Watch: 238 Atlantic Avenue Gets Glassy

238-Atlantic-Avenue-0609.jpg
238-Atlantic-one-story-0609.jpgThe large development that runs from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue along Boerum Place continues to proceed. Furthest along is the four-story building on Pacific Street, which already has some windows installed. Further east on Pacific, a one-story structure is partially complete. Anyone know what this is going to be? Parking? The entire complex will have a total of 55 residential units and none of the buildings will be more than six stories tall.

I walked down this block last week and was very impressed and hopeful how this bldg will turn out. Very classic features and looks like quality material.

There's 24,000 SF of retail that will help bridge the gap between Boerum Hill and the Heights.

This whole development is one of the future ghost towers listed in that Real Deal article. According to the article the builder has trouble with financing and is paying for the foundation work out of his own pocket. I really want to see this project get fully developed.
