In a renaming ceremony happening tomorrow, June 4th at 5 p.m., the busy intersection of Greenpoint and Manhattan Avenues will be renamed "Charno Way." The new street sign, located on the same site where Edmund and Larry Charno once operated the legendary Harrico Pharmacy, will be unveiled by family member, Randi Charno Levine. Today, the former Harrico Pharmacy storefront (at 893 Manhattan Avenue), which remained a neighborhood staple for over 30 years, is now a Duane Reade.
