2/3 Sold at The Jacksonia
More good news on the Williamsburg front. The Jacksonia, a seven-building complex at 131-145 Jackson Street in Williamsburg, is almost completely spoken for. Three of the eight-unit buildings are rental and the other four are condos. Of the 32 units that were put up for sale in October 2007, 20 have been sold, one more is in contract, three more have contracts out and two have accepted offers. Not too shabby. GMAP

This is in the best-regarded school district in Williamsburg, which I'd think counts for a lot.

condos - the bane of many other posters on this site - sold out in billyburg...two comments before mine - each day makes me more sure that this site is now full of "wanna be but will never be" buyers - the idea that prices will fall hy 50% is just wishful thinking. what gives??

7182713--you are completely correct, it is irritating.

these were priced well and looked out over a big brick converted rental building and a beautiful converted condo building. quiet and convenient to graham L and shops but still walking distance to north west williamsburg. they have a good feel with big doors that opened to a juliette balcony in the living rooms. the one beds are big and had a bonus space. views from the shared roof deck are terrific. my friend didn't buy which i thought was a mistake.

I'm the listing agent at Jacksonia & want to thank Brownstoner & the readers for such (mostly) positive reviews. We actually have a final COO on this building, our 4-21A tax abatement is in effect, and we meet minimum sales requirements for almost all banks. As of today,we have two accepted offers, three contracts out, and one contract signed which leaves only four units for lucky buyers! Open house is this Sunday 5/17 from 1-3pm, come on out! Thanks, Julia.
