Development Watch: 315 Vanderbilt Avenue

A reader tipped us off to the fact that netting has gone up at the former Head Start center at 315 Vanderbilt Avenue which was purchased last August for $3 million. When we checked the DOB permits, we were interested to see that an application had been filed to convert the building to a one-family home.

Wait, it's starting to come back to me. Yeah, he and/or she is an artist and friends of the artist(s) that live in the black building just north of the St. Joseph's College parking lot. Shame on me; look at what I've become.

Ah, they're not tearing it down? It really looked like they were taking off the roof beams the other day... anyways, that's good, it's a cute building.
