Closing Bell: All-Weather Flea

flea-050109.jpg
The first two week's of the outdoor Flea season were blessed with sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures. Tomorrow's looking a little more touch-and-go on the weather front but that's okay because The Flea in Fort Greene is a rain-or-shine market. If it is a little drizzly in the a.m., that should only reduce the competition for this weekend's scavenger hunt and make the food lines a little shorter. Our vendors aren't made of sugar—are you? The Brooklyn Flea is held on Saturdays at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues; take the C train to Clinton-Washington or the G train to Clinton Avenue) and on Sundays in Dumbo at 76 and 81 Front Street.
