New Campaign for Downtown Brooklyn Launches

DBP-Campaign-0409.jpg
The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership launched a new marketing campaign yesterday featuring a number of people who live and work in the area. As part of the effort, the partnership has created a website called It's The Moment where video testimonials from the likes of Marty Markowitz, Mark Morris and Joe Melillo exist side by side with information about tax incentives for moving your business downtown. (Did you know that there are over 100,000 office workers in Downtown Brooklyn?) Missing from the list of testimonials: Isaac Hager, whose Flatbush Flatiron project appears to be stalled out.

That guy in the middle seems to have lost his office...

And for those thinking of buying a condo downtown, how about a testimonial of 11:45 PM?

I thought I read somewhere that 11:45 bought on the 2nd floor. That picture was not taken on the 2nd floor.

Go Downtown Brooklyn!

You're correct. I'm sure it was more photogenic this way.

I for one am shocked they did not consider me, although airbrushing would be a given...

they should have van halen's "right now" as the theme for this campaign.

Seriously though, let's just get these buildings full of new residents and the rest will take care of itself.

Good advertisement. One is homeless the second got evicted with his furniture and the third is ready to jump. How about advertising affordable rents for families with children?
