$2.50 subway rides and fewer trains...

I thought of this as I got pushed, prodded, and/or shoved about 20 times this morning on the 2 train.

It wasn't a cheerful thought.

I try to not let myself go there, but just thinkin gabout all the abuse/fraud/waste that I know is there in the MTA and some other governmental organizations is enraging.

Not only has Ikea passed over the Red Hook bus company but most of the employees they hired from the Red Hook housing projects have been let go. Yeah, what a boon Ikea has been to Red Hook!

I wonder what happened to the ABC radio host - I saw an interview with Curtis Sliwa, he looked like he was in shock.

I was kind of surprised to learn he lived in Carroll Gardens and was a regular at Angry Wade's.

MTA irks me with their office bldg on Jay street sitting empty and deteriorating and they seem in no hurry do do anything - nor had much foresight to have this up for sale couple years ago.
And the arrogance of their substation in bldg on Smith and Wyckoff is an assualt to the neighborhood but nobody seems to be able to stand up to them.

As far as radio guy Weber - word is could be male prostitute or arranged sex encounter.

Half the media lives in Carroll Gardens. The other half lives in Park Slope.
