maybe dIpster can chime in on this, but all the storefronts in soho that have been closed down and shuttered the last couple of months are totally full of graffitti these days. more and more each day. i guess it's the people who rent/own the stores who clean it up or do empty storefronts just attract graffiti? it's nothing nice. it's all ugly amateur tags like the ones in the photo above. and they dont even pick cool colors. like the one above. white spraypaint? booooooooring. did they like steal that spraypaint from their super or something? i know it's super hard for kids to buy spray paint tho, but like everything in life there's ways around it.

Yes, it's on Manhattan Avenue.

so why are these pics of graffiti so common on this blog (and some others)? Seems like they are only giving the taggers more publicity rather rather than condemning.
To me this stuff are what makes streets/city look much worse. Much more so than the new buildings which are subject of all the rath and condemnation.
