Price Cuts at 80 Met

80-Met-032309.jpgSelling lower floors is never easy, so it should be no surprise to learn that six units on the second floor of 80 Metropolitan have just had their asking prices reduced. There haven't been a lot of price cuts at this 123-unit W'burg project to date, and this round wasn't too major—most of them fell in the 5 to 10 percent range. According to StreetEasy, 42 units are in contract at this point. GMAP

nothing is moving in Williamsburg at the moment, this is merely window-dressing

If there are any current contract holders for 80 Metropolitan in Williamsburg Brooklyn reading this, please contact me at newbrooklyn1@gmail.com.

We would like you to join our group of other contract holders for this development to talk about pre-closing, mortgage and any other important issues.

I know it's a pet peeve of mine, but these apartments are all bathroom. The 3 bedroom has 3. And they're not that big! Honestly, with this kind of square footage, wouldn't most people rather have something larger than a 13 x 17 living room instead? Especially at this price point? It's like tenement architecture with better appliances and more places to pee.

I'd rather have one decent sized bathroom
