Liebman Mansion Interior Revealed

When we posted the news of the Julius Liebman mansion at 380 Clinton Avenue hitting the market last month, there was much speculation about the state of the interiors. Well, now that there's an online listing, we can all see for ourselves. Personally, it looks much nicer than we expected.

That's more my style than the ghetto.

A lot nicer than expected. need to wait for the Big Game Lotto jackpot to grow big enough so the cash value is enough to pay for this baby. Love the size of that back yard - maybe grass tennis court. Anyone looked up the property tax on this? suspect it's at or over 10k/yr

I'd be happy with the carriage house. Nice.

It leaves me wanting to see more. It is in far better shape than expected. I hope it goes to someone that respects the property's history and character.

Agreed that this listing is massively helped by the photos. Pretty cool to see that the interiors have so much intact detail. This is a pretty amazing property.

Hopefully they'll have an open house.

If this thread had a few more pictures it might have approached the number of posts that ODB did.

Why did they go with this real estate company? And why are there only a few photographs on the NYTimes ad? For an asking price of $5-plus million?
Unacceptable.

You'd be hard-pressed to find taxes lower than 10k on a run-of-the-mill house in the 'burbs. Sounds like a deal to me. Anyone who can afford this place, probably thinks ten grand is chump change.

not chump change for someone like me who needs to hit the lottery to buy it.

My backyard butts up against the courtyard of this house. House def looks nicer from that view. Many more details on the back of the house. Def worth 5.5 mil...If only I had...
