Forte Marketing Effort Gets a Makeover

After a couple of years of keeping control over the sales process at the Forte in house, the Clarett Group has gone outside and tapped The Developer's Group to take over the marketing of the 108-unit tower in the BAM Cultural District of Fort Greene. As you can see from the new ad running on this site, the visual campaign has had a makeover. As far as we can tell, the squad change has not come with any sweeping price cuts. (Updated listings are here.) It will be interesting to see if this movecombined with the typically strong spring seasoncan jump start sales. Judging from the stats on StreetEasy, the 30-story tower is about 50-percent sold. According to the brass at TDG, the model apartments have also gotten make-overs. You can check 'em out at the kick-off bagel brunch event on Sunday from 12 to 3.

Make me a supermodel has started airing on Bravo. The models reside at the Forte, the building gets a beauty shot each time the show comes back from a commercial break.

According to your map on this post, Forte is somewhere on the outskirts of St. Louis. I don't think that's true.

This building embodies what I find unsatisfying about Fort Greene. Its a beautiful little neighborhood, but with a heavy emphasis on "little." This building's placement just across Flatbush (in the "BAM cultural district" it proclaims) is all that distinguishes it from the numerous fancy high-rises that have sprouted incongruously from the downtown morass.

Although it does beat suburban St. Louis (@zinka).

Yeah, I just realized that about "Make Me a Supermodel." I guess they're done filming by now? Or are we going to have supermodel sitings?
(Which would actually be a lot better eyecandy than those Real World or Top Chef people.)

Is it my imagination or did they add an accent after Forte?
Yeah, THAT will sell 'em. Add an accent.

I suggest renaming it to "Foreplay". It will sell like hotcakes.

But as soon as the sun sets, the lights are 75% off (or worse). Consistently.

Forte appears to be almost 95% empty and sad looking. We love FG but this one hasn't done well at all and will take big price reductions or go the rental route.
Now from an aesthetics stand point whats with that UGLY water tower on the top of the building? Really poor finishing there by the architects or engineers. That tank defaces the entire project and looks very amateurish ...make a huge roof garden or surround the tank with a glass house of the same trigonal design or something....Meis is rolling over in his grave.

Guy, public records on Streeteasy indicate that over 30% have closed.

are the prices on new developments like these negotiable? How can they think they can get away with such high prices!?
