Closing Bell: NYC Beard & Moustache Championships

The NYC Beard & Moustache Championships is coming to Brooklyn this Saturday, March 14. Contestants will be divided into eight categories: Full Beard Natural, Full Beard Freestyle, Patchy Beard, Recession Beard, Goatee, Moustache, Sideburns, and Ladies Artificial. Besides the awesome beards, there will be live music, stand-up comedians, and burlesque dancers. It will be happening at Public Assembly located at 70 North 6th Street in Williamsburg. You can buy advance tickets for $15 here or it is $20 at the door.

I should have signed up Hubby for this. He has a full beard and it's now at the point where it's unruly and he needs to brush it.

Not clear on how a 'recession beard' differs from any other kind. Website doesn't clarify.
