Brownstone Voyeur is a new joint project from casaCARA and Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn. The project will be a regular Thursday series that will take you behind those pretty Brooklyn facades to see what’s inside. First up, a classic modern in Cobble Hill.

Lovely furniture, not sure I got a good look at the house though. Seems the furniture and artwork were more the focus here.

and that place looks great Not to nit pick, but if one is going for a "book-matched walnut veneer" look they/the contractor ought to use the same grain match for above the cabinets.

I think that everyone seems to have the same taste and it will be interesting to see something different each week. That house looks like all of my brownstone friends' homes.

Denton, I linked to sources solely for the convenience of readers who might want to know where the stuff came from. casaCARA is wordpress.com, which doesn't even allow advertising, and that's fine with me (for now).
Insert, the nylon curtains you like are from Mxyplyzyk on Greenwich Ave in the Village (didn't mention it initially because i was too rushed to check the spelling).
Witchdoctor, trust me, it won't be ALL mid-century. We're gonna mix it up.
Anyway, sounds like most of you like the new feature.
