BREAKING: Fire at 335 Adams Street
It's turning out to be a bad week for fires. Curbed is reporting that 335 Adams Street in Downtown Brooklyn has been evacuated due to a fire on an upper floor. Please send photos or news if you're close by.

Ironically, I think this is the location of the Bureau of Fire Prevention's District Headquarters.

There was an explosion in an electrical closet causing fire and smoke. The entire 31 floors of the building were evacuated. It took as long as 30 minutes to get down the stairs from the 26th Floor. Power went out also.

An explosion? I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact there are cops with rifles stationed around Cadman Plaza this morning.
