The Prime Meats Drumroll Continues
Has there been a more hyped anticipated Brooklyn restaurant in recent memory than Prime Meats? Maybe Vinegar Hill House but PM is the launch of the moment. A Brooklyn Life got to hang at the not-open-but-open hotspot last weekend and a friend posted a the photos on Flickr. As for ABL, she gives the decor an A+ but wonders "if Carroll Gardens has the constitution for such creative cocktailing." GMAP

Why not? The area already has the never empty Brooklyn Social and Clover Club-both of which are known for their interesting and tasty cocktails.

That sign used to hang a few doors down from Franny's pizzeria on Flatbush Avenue.

I was hoping the sign would stay where it was and the place would re-open as a gay bar.

Vinegar Hill House was a total dud food-wise, and filled to the rafters with NYMag types (middle aged white women).
Hope this place is tastier and a little more diverse in crowd atmosphere.
