Streetlevel: Prague Kolektiv Shuts Store, Moves Upstairs

prague-kolektiv-0209.jpg
Bummer. One of our favorite furniture stores, Prague Kolektiv, has closed its storefront location at 143 Front Street in Dumbo and moved to a showroom upstairs at 68 Jay Street, Suite 415. The new space is open to the public, not just the trade, noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and by appointment. It can't be an easy environment for high-end mid-century 20th century antiques, but hopefully the new set-up will make more sense. GMAP

Nice furniture...but they are very very expensive. Which would explain the move.
