Large Restaurant Space Rising on Baltic

Replacing four small garage spaces, a new high-ceilinged restaurant space is currently under construction at 269 Baltic Street just east of Court Street. We tried getting in touch with the owner to get more detail but to no avail so all we know is what's on the construction permit: It'll be a "eating/drinking establishment" and have 21-foot ceilings. Anyone know anything else about the plans for the space? GMAP P*Shark DOB

Does anyone think this would be approved by Landmarks?

It does not need to be approved by landmarks because it is not in a landmarked area. What is more of a question is if they can get a variance allowing them to have a full liquor license that close to a school.

I know its not landmarked, I just wanted to hear what landmarking proponents think it would take to get this approved.
