Development Watch: 236 Livingston Street Rising

As is often the case, the excavation and foundation work at 236 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn took most of last year, but now that it's done, the building itself is flying up, despite a partial stop work order in place. As you may recall, we snapped a photo of the renderings for this two-tower project a year ago at a Community Board 2 meeting. (Check it out here.) Judging from the New Building Permit, it looks like the tower on Livingston may end up being 21 stories rather than 26.

Good for the hood, yo. We need some Hassi's to fill up the streets here. Marty should start scrapping together some lentils & build a Synagogue across the street

That comment about 21 floors seems wrong. The linked Schedule A still goes up to 26.
