Development Watch: Windows for 177 Concord Street

When we checked out the Karl Fischer-designed conversion at 177 Concord Street at Duffield Street in Downtown Brooklyn last September, some of the original windows were still in place; now they've been replaced by new, less attactive ones, some of which are set back at non-right angles to create some small balconies. Seems like an odd choice.

somehow I doubt the old ones (windows) would have blocked much noise,
kept in much heat or been real attractive from the inside.
