Closing Bell: Weeklong Valentine's Day on Fifth Avenue

hearts-2-09.jpgWhy limit the love to just one day? More than 70 Fifth Avenue retailers and restaurants in Park Slope are having a Valentine's celebration all week starting today through V-Day on Saturday. From Dean Street to 18th Street, the businesses will offer discounted prices, prix fixe meals, and special promotions so you can save some cash while still romancing your sweetie.

Bitter, table for one... I kid, I kid. Frankly I can't stand this manufactured holiday. Thankfully the bf is similarly curmudgeonly.

I will take them out on this offer and take my wife out. How do I know which restaurants are in this?

Hi Troll,
Unfortunately, there is not a set list online of the participating businesses. But I think a lot are advertising this in their windows (or you can ask!).

Also, on OTBKB it was mentioned that Aunt Suzie's is doing this. And from BP, Zuzu’s Petals is offering a discount.

MrsCWB and I are going to dinner-and-a-classic movie at BAM. Seemed like it'd be a fun evening and not overly schmaltzy.

I heard that even fancy-schmancy Al Di La is offering discounts during the week.

Let me know when they are ready to start accepting reservations then I'll think about going.
