268 Wythe Revealed: You Likey?

Gowanus Lounge posted this photo of the recently-revealed new 13-unit development at 268 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg and issued a favorable verdict on the building's architecture: "It seems to mesh better with the streetscape and shows a creativity that is sadly lacking in most Brooklyn architects," says GL. Do you agree? On a related note, there are Corcoran signs up on the scaffolding but nothing on its website yet. GMAP

Way better than most - I'll wait until its done to say if its transcendent. Although if you look at from the north, with 80 Metropolitan looming in the background, its pretty darn close. But we grade on a curve in the Eastern District.

It looks like crapola up close. The painted metal balcony railings clash with the fixed wood louvres.

i think you need to go inside to vote. this seems silly to just look at a picture. i can't tell from this. mopar - did you look at the units? how crapola? i've seen terrific and seriously pathetic, so i'm interested. the interiors matter way more to me than the exteriors.
