The Views from 16 Court Street

great pictures thanks.
There was a time when magnificent skyscrapers like this one were being built in downtown Brooklyn. Today the local community groups are up in arms over sixth-floor bulkheads on a new five-story building on Atlantic Avenue.
At some point I think the pendulum has to swing back in the direction of optimism and sanity.

Very cool.
My house is in the second picture. Behind the Williamsburg Savings Bank, way, way, way in the back, a little to the left. Right there.

sam- if the new skyscrapers were as magnificent as these, no one would bitch. Well, there would be less bitching.
