Streetlevel: Ignazio's To Finally Open Next Month
Ignazio's may be a candidate for the slowest opening pizza place ever. Granted, it looks like it's designed to be more upscale than your average by-the-slice joint, but still, it's gotta be coming up on two years now. When we last blogged about it in December 2007, the interior looked about the same as it does now, minus the drum set. When we talked to the owner earlier this week, though, he assured us that it was going to open in February.

I met this wooly owner on the street. He was very nice. It sounded like he would be open shortly.
