***Bid half off peak comps***

Posted by: Brownstones Half Off at January 23, 2009 9:15 AM

My wife and I have been out of town, or have had t of town visitors in, almost every weekend since before Christmas.

This weekend is a chill around the house and do a lot of nothing by ourselves kinda weekend.

Posted by: christopher at January 23, 2009 9:18 AM

i've been spending too much time on this site. last night i had a seriously wacked out dream :-/ i was at some kind of pro television rally (whatever the heck that is) and they were doing a re-make of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood to take place in park slope and 11217 was rallying or trying to get votes to be the new mr. rogers. then someone was giving out the ballots but they were all wet and soggy and someone screamed WHY ARE THE BALLOTS SO SOGGY!!!?!

can someone good with dream analysis explain that one!?

Going to Philly tonight...going to Smith & Wollensky for dinner to have the artery-hardening pork hock with crackling skin!!!! Nothing better on earth except the Amada roast pig!!!!

Yes vegans, keep thinking of this and you'll fall off the wagon. Bacon usually does it for them every time!!!

*rob* It's called a "nocturnal emission".

Don't be embarassed. They are very common during our teenage years.

Posted by: IMBY at January 23, 2009 9:25 AM

And for anyone just not getting enough!!!!

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 9:28 AM

according the susan miller, a very VERY well known astrologer and very spot on, this weekend of the 23-25th is supposed to be the most romantic weekend for the NEXT SEVEN YEARS! talk about high pressure! im tempted to ask my ex if he wants to hang out and see what happens lol. other than i have no prospects anyway :(

Posted by: PitbullNYC at January 23, 2009 9:29 AM

IMBY...it's yours today...I won't even try for the SOTD.

That was great!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 9:31 AM

"Going to Philly tonight"

Smith and Wollensky? What about Cuba Libre? Too college?

***Bid half off peak comps***

Posted by: Brownstones Half Off at January 23, 2009 9:49 AM

BRG may be right. The Snark is strong in this one.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 9:50 AM

Cuba Libre is good...and a great space. Philly has so many great restaurants these days. Have you been to Amada? It's still got too much of a buzz and a bit difficult to get in on short notice but that pig beats all!!!!!

You and I can agree on something.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 9:55 AM

I think IMBY wins SOTW with that one (but who am I to judge? I haven't won any award yet.).

I'm painting my closets this weekend, starting today (I took today off). During the winter, I like to get things done around my place.

Posted by: benson at January 23, 2009 9:56 AM

Interesting story in the NYTimes today about high end restaurants closing around the country.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 9:59 AM

...........working this weekend :(

Posted by: troll at January 23, 2009 10:04 AM

The people have spoken.

For delivering a knockout zinger in the first round, today's SOTD goes to IMBY.

Good luck prying the tiara out of Miss Chiff's hands.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 10:08 AM

I still haven't given the tiara to Miss Chiff. He knows where I live and can come and get it if he wants it.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 10:11 AM

Miss Chiff is a he?

Posted by: Biff Champion at January 23, 2009 10:17 AM

yes, Miss Chiff is 11233...he was at the party. He lives around the corner from me.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 10:19 AM

DIBS: I have my own tiara, dahhhhling.

Good for you IMBY! I gladly hand thee the tiara. Wear it with pride.

Note to future winners, please display some grace and class when stepping down from the SOTD pedistal, lest you sully this entire process.

Weekend with friends and family.

Posted by: Miss Chiff at January 23, 2009 10:22 AM

Miss Chiff, will you finally admit to everyone here that you are 11233, as DIBS claims?

Posted by: Biff Champion at January 23, 2009 10:25 AM

Biff, I am 11233. C'hiller guessed it adn I confirmed it some time ago. As for misterbubble, I am not him/her.

Benson: DIBS denies being misterbubble.

OK, I HAVE to work today. I am not working this weekend dammit!

Posted by: Miss Chiff at January 23, 2009 10:32 AM

I am not misterbubble despite my bubbly (and universally liked) personality. And, I don't like champagne all that much.

Want to rething SOTD on that one, Snark?

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 10:36 AM

OK, I can't resist. (I feel like MM on LSD!)

cw, that block of Hancock does have a block association. If you see the house and are interested, I can get you more info on it if you want it. (I think I speak for all Bed-Stuy posters, it would be lovely to have you in our neighborhood if the place is right for you.)

BRG: I agree on the stainless steel backsplash. I saw stainless steel tiles, which I think would be lovely, give the same effect and make the addition of colored tiles easier. I am reconsiddering colored glass, though I prefer clear. I do have to consider my other half, so we need to compromise.

I so agree with miss chiff. I myself (as first recipient, in case you've all forgotten) have tried my best to set a tone of compassion, elegance and grace for recipients of the award. However I am dismayed that the SOTD was given out o early and to a relative unknown, effectively blocking C'hiller and BRg for another day. I'm not sure how they will last over the weekend.(Not to bellttle your honor IMBY.)

It's ok, DIBS- I made my own tiara- have made them for a store in manhattan so there will be no lack thereof should miss chiff pry yours from our nerveless fingers- although I know for a fact she is way too classy to do so.

excuse me....'scuse....just wafting ethereally through.

I'll most likely be spending the weekend helping my sister paint. Just......can't......wait.

I'm no longer putting myself in contention for the lame ass SOTD.

Sheesh, I don't remember meeting half these people at the shindig in October. So, sorry, if I met you and don't remember. Half the time I don't even know who I am!

BTW - no one noticed what went down late last night in yesterday's Open Thread.
The usual suspects convened. I'm surprised Miss Chiff didn't make an appearance.....hhhhmmmm!!

bxgrl:

'I am dismayed that the SOTD was given out o early and to a relative unknown'
What difference does it make if it's a relative unknown? Would you rather it go to one of your relatives so you can get your paws on the tiara once again?
A snark is a snark!!
And that was a damn good one!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 11:54 AM

Well! here I am trying to plug your nomination and THIS i what I get?! But not to fear- your day will come- an in anticipation I shall create a special Susan Lucci tiara just for you :-)

DIBS- of course she does. I am off to sweep the fireplace ashes out and then I am tending to the feline population and then I'll be scrubbing floors. But I'm fine- i have my little mouse friends to help me do the mending and the little sparrows to help pick up the fallen haystalks from the cottage thatch.

BHO--what is your reason for worrying about war with China?

Posted by: wasder at January 23, 2009 12:51 PM

Yes, Wednesday or Thursday...Friday's are for family. I had suggested Mrch 20 as Obama's first 60 days...didn't see it was a friday.

But a war with Iraq got us into one. Where's the logic?

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 1:00 PM

cobblehiller, I think Thursday night is better too for everyone. I'll look into places as we get a bit closer.

BHO, that might sound outrageous, but I've actually wondered what would happen if China were to call us on our debt and we couldn't repay it. I wouldn't put it past our foreign policymakers to come up with a reason to declare war. Although in reality, I think there is no chance of that with Bush/Cheney out of office and given the fact we would find it hard to survive without China, the fact China could destroy us just as fast as we destroy it, etc.

Posted by: Biff Champion at January 23, 2009 1:02 PM

DIBS, a war with China would be very different than a war with Iraq. There would be no soldiers involved. It would just be a matter of us and them pushing a button.

'DIBS, a war with China would be very different than a war with Iraq. There would be no soldiers involved. It would just be a matter of us and them pushing a button.'

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 1:36 PM

"BHO--what is your reason for worrying about war with China?"

Trade deficit conflict. It took a war to bring us out of the Great Depression. I don't think it would happen under Obama, though. I think this recession/depression will outlive his term(s).

"But a war with Iraq got us into one. Where's the logic?"

It wasn't the war with Iraq (just a contribution to the defecit), it was the war that 'The What' predicts will someday end that got us into this recession. Seriously though, it is the inevitable unraveling/deleveraging of the global Ponzi/Madoff expansion of the last 20 years that got us into this recession. This recession is a take-back. The economic fundamentals are naturally taking back what was unsustainable. Consumption without production.

BHO...you apparently haven't seen the recent trade deficit numbers. It has narrowed dramatically.

On a lighter note, there's a love fest going on in the Six months later thread with Miss Muffett.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 1:46 PM

BHO--So you believe the recession will outlast Obama, potentially 8 years? That is a deeper longer event than I have seen predicted. I obviously understand the problem of our debt to China and how that could cause a conflict, but China would need to be pretty delusional to think that they could take us out and not suffer a series of unintended consequences.

OK...time for a serious discussion here. One of my colleagues (a woman of course) has brought in a jar of bubbles that she's going to start blowing when things get tense around here.

The bubbles are made in Germany and all the directions are in German. WHY THE HELL DO WE HAVE TO IMPORT BUBBLES FROM GERMANY. And if the Germans are selling to the US why aren't the directions in English??? Isn't it enough that we import their cars and their beer??? Those labels and manuals are in English.

I think the level of quantitative easing all around the world is worrying people and we think that the LONGER TERM CHART of lower highs and lower lows is likely to be broken...right here at 900. We had the opposite view about a week or two and that it would break down...its the quantitative easing issues.

NOW I KNOW WHO YOU REMIND ME OF misterbubble, with that speaking in the third person all the time. Although it wasn't third person...it was Max in Sunset Boulevard when he always referred to Norma Desmond as "Madame."

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 3:40 PM

cobblehiller is losing interest in bubble, and turning her attention back to SnarkSlope.

I told you those are great bubbles!

What else are you DIBS? So far we're both German and Scottish.

i'm also Swiss, Danish, English, French, Welsh and Cherokee Indian.

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 3:49 PM

I'm also Irish (my surname). Among MANY other things, I'm Cherokee by injection. ;)

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 3:55 PM

I just found out today that I'm related to the new Senator. She is the daughter of my mother's cousin.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 3:58 PM

DIBS is also an 'asshat' by nature.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 3:59 PM

That's Pompous White Asshat to you, BRG. Second only to MM, the PBA.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 4:01 PM

In consideration of BH, I will not tell what I am by 'injection'! But it is fun to think about! ; )

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:01 PM

'misterbubble is ready for your colleague to start blowing.'
- Posted by: misterbubble at January 23, 2009 3:21 PM

'You're better off looking for that sort of stuff in Bay Ridge.'
- Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 3:24 PM

mister bubble please visit Bed Sty, Dibs can bring home his 'little wand thing' and show you that he's a 'better bubble blower' than what you're used to. Being '1/4 of a clever German', it only requires 'three blows'.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:01 PM

Asshat doesn't count BRG! We're all asshats!

PCHA cobblehiller

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 4:09 PM

Late to the discussion. No one mentioned it but Master Plvmber was at the Union Hall event. Nice guy and had some funny things to say about Joe the unlicensed Plumber.

Posted by: slopefarm at January 23, 2009 4:15 PM

misterbubble says, "auf widersehen, liebchen."

Posted by: misterbubble at January 23, 2009 4:15 PM

Well, congrat's Rob!!! Welcome to the work force, you youngin'

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:16 PM

'liebchen'........hhhhmmmm

is misterbubble secretly 'in love' with some one on here??

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:19 PM

What's a nooner? Or shouldn't I ask?

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:20 PM

I heard he looks like General Burkhalter.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 4:20 PM

It's something you might do at noon time other than lunch.

I did hear that it was report week for "Pitchers and Catchers"; so this is appropriate.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 4:23 PM

cobblehiller - do you find your English part fighting with your Welsh and French parts?

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 4:25 PM

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 4:25 PM

The French part always surrenders, ditto.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 4:26 PM

Cobble...it's a 'loving' lunch.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:27 PM

Yes, I'm likely the product of various wars, invasions and a good bit of marauding!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:28 PM

Got it kids, thanks.

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:29 PM

where did Rob go? He throws it out there and then goes to get ready for dinner!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:29 PM

I want to know if they did it IN the office!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:31 PM

'Yes, I'm likely the product of various wars, invasions and a good bit of marauding!'

But were they nooners???

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:31 PM

Knowing my family...they were morning, nooner and nighters! ; )

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:33 PM

were they rabbits?

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 4:37 PM

ew i would never do it in the office. me and my ex hopped in a cab and went back to his apt in the EV. trashy i know. i wont talk about the subject anymore. ahha

Posted by: PitbullNYC at January 23, 2009 4:37 PM

Cobble, you're slipping.
You missed what misterbubble said at 4:15pm!!
Is it a clue, a hint, a crush?
Who's he referring to?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:39 PM

tho it was around 115 so i guess that doesnt really count as an office nooner.

Posted by: PitbullNYC at January 23, 2009 4:39 PM

I love trashy. Its the best.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 4:39 PM

ditto, I'm not talking to you. I'm in a jealous snit about you and snark.

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:41 PM

- do it in the Office
- hopping in a Cab'
- at the Apt

All good places!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:41 PM

CH, you know I can't decide between tall-girl you, snarky, trashy pumps BRG, or undetermined-gender mopar. All of whom I like becuase of your cleverness. Except BRG of course. If need be, I'm willing to work a timeshare arrangement.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 4:44 PM

I saw it BRG. I've filed it.

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:46 PM

mopar is a medium height female brunette.

I feel the love ditto! I'll get over it...someday...[pining...sigh]

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 4:47 PM

'I can't decide between tall-girl you, snarky, trashy pumps BRG, or undetermined-gender mopar. All of whom I like becuase of your cleverness. Except BRG of course. If need be, I'm willing to work a timeshare arrangement.'

BRG of course, won't arrange to share the time of day with dittoburg. Her trashy pumps are treading elsewhere!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 4:52 PM

ok BRG - Do you think I could get Snarky or Cobbly to wear trashy pumps? I'm only 6ft though, I'm worried Cobbly would tower above me. On second thoughts, I like the idea.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 4:56 PM

I did once own a pair of very high heeled shoes that I called my 'take me out to dinner and I'll think about it' shoes!

I would, in fact, tower, but just ever so slightly ditto...

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:00 PM

Its a date!

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:03 PM

WOW Cobble, between misterbubble and now ditto, I see some lunch dates in your future!

btw, cobble - in my part of town, we call those shoes 'f*ck me pumps'
Get with the lingo, Girlfriend. I'll turn you around yet. BH will be begging for more.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:04 PM

Now you're talking dirty you've won me back.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:08 PM

BRG, In YOUR part of town they would be! In MY part of town we're more subtle!

Be still my heart! I haven't felt this popular since...since...I dunno when!

misterbubble wasn't into me. He was a terrible tease.

BH is plenty happy, rest assured!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:10 PM

Ditto, my condolences, she said 'I did once own a pair'...past tense.

Cobble, what's your shoe size, maybe I can lend you a pair. Suede or leather? Sorry but the glass pumps are reserved for very special occasions….for me!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:11 PM

I've done it three times in the office..three different guys and was out with two of them at the same time one night. That was a little weird.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:13 PM

'BH is plenty happy, rest assured!'
Well according your family history, I would think so!!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:13 PM

I feel like a bonobo chimp right now, I don't know who to say "hello" to first

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:13 PM

I have a pair of 5 inch heeled boots! Does that count? The current pumps are only 3 inches!

Leather, please! ; )

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:13 PM

'BRG, In YOUR part of town they would be!'

Cobble, for what it's worth, I'd award you a SOTD for this.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:14 PM

'I have a pair of 5 inch heeled boots!'
Cobble, even better!!!!
Do you have a micro mini skirt?
Ditto watch out...Bay Ridge Style Makeover coming up!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:16 PM

That was pretty good, huh! [patting self on back!]

Where is snark when I need him!

[Dizzy ditto?]

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:17 PM

Ditto, a sandwich is too much for you?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:19 PM

I do love a posh clever chick dressing up trashy.

I'd better go before i get arrested.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:21 PM

Cobble, don't pat yourself too hard, you might fall over in those 5" heels.
We'll practice walking in them in a few.

For the past hour, I have done NO work.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:23 PM

I can't believe that snark gave the award so early and has missed all of these gems. Classic Snarkitude. I suggest the DIBS Snap Snap Snap Award go to the both of you- you can both have tiaras.

DIBS- this is your chance to change the world. Create an award! take away the pain of these two distraught ladies- give them something to hold on to in the darkness!

Posted by: bxgrl at January 23, 2009 5:23 PM

Ditto, you won't get arrested, Cobble is over 18!

Bxgrl: do you have a micro mini to lend Cobble?
Does EVLL have any hairspray? I can't spare any.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:26 PM

I think we all know by now that whatever DIBS might have to hold on to in the darkness, ain't for the ladies.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 5:27 PM

You're right Snark. His tiara sits on his head.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:28 PM

Oh no - found out, in flagrante delicto with BRG and Cobbly.

Whats your policy on open relationships Snarky?

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:29 PM

Oh, it's been s o m e time since I've worn a mini! But I sure did look good! ; )

ditto won't get arrested, but I might get thrown out of the house!

snark, I'm not talking to you. I'm in a jealous snit about you and ditto.

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:31 PM

Thank you bxgrl, I will remain an unsung hero, if only in my own mind!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:33 PM

And the first DIBS Snap,Snap,Snap Award goes to Snark for his 5:27 comment. Lest any of you think that this was payback for receiving the second SOTD Award I assure you it is not.

I was however, too lazy to look for any better comments.

I promise you'll all be in the running on Monday but remember, bribes should preferably be Latin or Asian and between 20 and 35. A hot Cherokee would work as well.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:33 PM

I see Ditto!!

Snark...how do you look in a micro mini?
Cobble, looks like we have to up the ante here....how do you feel about wearing a hot pink sequined tube top??

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:34 PM

Girls, girls, girls...Snark's just interested in all these outfits and accessories so he can try them on.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:36 PM

I'm of the "more the merrier" school. The bf less so.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 5:36 PM

I'm of the "more the merrier" school too, especially with the partner living down in Philly.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:39 PM

Tube top! Good g*d NO!

Got any satin or leather bustiers?

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:40 PM

"Girls, girls, girls...Snark's just interested in all these outfits and accessories so he can try them on."

How do I say this? Ah...got it.

No sh*t DIBS!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:41 PM

Hey dave where can I purchase actual bullion in the ny area. I am tired of purchasing small coins..

Posted by: HOBOKENROCKS at January 23, 2009 5:41 PM

DIBS, your suggested bribes comprise a rather nice "basket of currencies."

Oh for the record, just because I *can* walk in heels, doesn't mean I do. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Posted by: SnarkSlope at January 23, 2009 5:42 PM

My wife is very particular about who she invites into bed with us, and she won't let anyone wear shoes in bed as far as I'm aware.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:42 PM

hobokenrocks, this is the libertine section, you want the numismatics room over the other side.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:44 PM

I'm of the "more the beefier" school, especially with a partner living in.....

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:45 PM

There are a few places...the websites escape me, remind me on Monday. I have them at the office.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:47 PM

"just because I *can* walk in heels, doesn't mean I do."

This doesn't mean we love you any less...sigh...oh wait, I'm not talking to you!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:47 PM

Ditto, please send photos of your wife to my email.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:48 PM

BRG...I like them beefy to. No 26" waists for me. My friend calls my Mexican bf my "beefy chalupa."

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:49 PM

WIFE! Heavens...first misterbubble - the big tease, and now a MARRIED man! ditto...you dog!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:49 PM

Because I *can* walk ON heels, means I do!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:49 PM

ok thanks , have a great weekend all...

Posted by: HOBOKENROCKS at January 23, 2009 5:50 PM

Sorry Ditto, I didn't mean any disrespect.

Please send photos of you AND your wife to my email...prrrrrrr!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:51 PM

I think ditto has posted a movie clip on www.xtube.com

Sorry, ditto. Couldn't resist.

There will now be a 3 hour pause in all posting while you're all glued to www.xtube.com

Don't open it at the office.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:51 PM

There's a gay/straight filter on the right.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:52 PM

Cobblers, I'm sorry to say that if we went on a date my wife would be there too. Shes very attractive though, imagine the best of asian and latin mixed. She'd be just Dave's type if she was a he.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:55 PM

BH is home...he tells me he already knew about this! Now the question is...why didn't I?

Excuse me for a minute!

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:56 PM

Ditto....SEND PICTURES NOW, PLEASE!!!!!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:56 PM

Tell her to bring her brother along, ditto.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 5:56 PM

BRG - I've been accused of looking like a bogus Michael Vartan. However, I've also been accusd of being a dork.

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:57 PM

Suddenly I feel as if I tripped into a swingers dating site! Through the looking glass...

Posted by: cobblehiller at January 23, 2009 5:58 PM

'Excuse me for a minute!'

Cobble is trying to make up for her antics, except it's not Noon!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 5:58 PM

Dave - the ugly muscly one or the looker?

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 5:58 PM

I thought brownstoner closed at 5pm. Does anyone know we're still in here?

Posted by: dittoburg at January 23, 2009 6:00 PM

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 6:02 PM

Ditto btw, did we meet in Oct? Where you there?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 6:03 PM

Well, both, ditto. Men are pigs.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at January 23, 2009 6:03 PM

'Now must go chillax with BH.'

Cobble, I think you're going to be working hard! Have a good weekend.

Happy weekend frolics, all.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at January 23, 2009 6:15 PM

Good thing I missed all this. I was busy with real estate porn in the real world. Although maybe if it's near the Halsey J and it needs a lot of work it's not really porn. Or maybe it's really slutty.

Posted by: mopar at January 25, 2009 11:58 AM

Actually, wait, I was at the Brooklyn Historical Society!

Posted by: mopar at January 25, 2009 12:01 PM

Ok, who saw it...our own Montrose Morris, quoted in the NYT Real Estate section article on RE Blogs.!

Congratulations on the article to Mr. B and MM!
