Development Watch: Atlantic Terrace Lopes Along

The 80-unit development at 669 Atlantic Avenue known as the Atlantic Terrace continues to move forward but at a glacial pace. When we checked in on the construction last September the foundation was in and the first couple floors of steel beams were in place; four months later they have two out of an eventual nine stories done. About 70 percent of the apartments in the Fifth Avenue Committee-developed project will be "affordable."

has anyone else noticed the non-union labor (remember there was a rat out the front of this place) doing welding out in the open with sparks flying?
