Viridian Goes Rental
Though it's just barely hit the market, Curbed reports that Greenpoint's luxury condo at 110 Green Street is going nondo: rentals are on the horizon. No word on pricing, though their Web site still has units for sale, ranging from 662-sf one-beds for $475,000 to 1267-sf three-beds for $835,000. Plus pool! Billiards! Zip car!

I predict they will try and rent the 1 bedrooms (which, btw, are amazingly small) for 2300, and the 2 bedrooms for 3K plus. I also predict they will not get those prices.

Glad someone finally made comment here. It was such a lonely little piece with a zero comment section for so long.
And I agree. But they'll get more like 1,850 for a 1 bedroom.

Nokilissa - There were plenty of comments on the Curbed story itself, but it mostly descended into an inane off-topic battle of Williamsburg versus Park Slope. At least we are spared that here.
But one commenter on Curbed said something that made me doubly sad - "The Greenpoint condo market is going to fold like the Buffalo Bills." Sucks for me, since I am in contract for a Greenpoint condo (since April) and I am also a fan of the Bills, who started the season with a 5-1 record, now 6-8.
Fortunately, there are more important things in life besides money and the fate of my teams. Right?

Yes there are. You health, your friends, and your sense of humor.

Awwww. I second Ditto's sentiment Paul C.
But chin up! One never knows.
