"Dead or Alive" another one of my favorite 80s one-hit-wonders!!!!!

Biff...we want you in charge of the music at our next stoner piss up.

How's that house going in BH that we have the bet on?? $4.4 MM or less I said if I remember correctly.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 10:06 AM

DIBS, I'm all about the '80s music. I lost my innocence in that decade. Unfortunately, I found it in the two subsequent ones.

I remember the bet but not the address of the home. Do you remember it?

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 10:11 AM

I don't remember the address.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 10:12 AM

YAY! i got my secret santa gift at work just now!!! Peeps, Super Mario Bandaids, and a book called "Money Shot"! woo woo... the back jacket describes the book...

"it all began with a phon call asking former porn star angel dare to do one more movie. before she knew it, she'd been shot and left for dead in the trunk of a car. but angel is a survivor. and that means she'll get to the bottom of what's been done to her even if she has to leave a trail of bodies along the way..."

someone knew me well :)

Put this in my "People I'd love to hook up to the back of a pick-up and go for nice long drive" file.

Scarlett Johansson announced on the Jay Leno show that she has put up a used tissue on E-Bay, and, of course, will donate the proceeds to charity. She used the tissue during her recent cold, and it will come sealed in a baggie.

God, this woman is nauseating. Gorgeous - but nauseating. What an act of charity by Scarlett. She defintely belongs as an actress in the continuing documentary of neurotic, narcissistic Manhattanites, otherwise known as Woody Allen films.

Posted by: benson at December 19, 2008 10:40 AM

hey rob, the plot of "Money Shot" reminds me of the classic "I Spit On Your Grave."

Posted by: Fjorder at December 19, 2008 10:40 AM

whoa i loved that movie fjorder! i havent seen it since i was like 10 tho. ill have to look it up again.

*rob*

Posted by: PitbullNYC at December 19, 2008 10:48 AM

"I Spit On Your Grave" is easily the most &*!@$# up, disturbing movie ever!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at December 19, 2008 10:50 AM

Benson, what would be more nauseating is if lots of people bid on it. I'd much rather give to whatever charity she's supporting directly, rather than indulge in a silly publicity stunt. Besides which, ebay is getting a healthy cut out of whatever is raised, so all the money is not going to whatever charity she picks.

Doing that does rather show a contempt for one's fans, which is not very appealing, as well. Talk about narcissism.

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 11:09 AM

DIBS, Biff...when did you make that bet? I vaguely remember it...and what's the prize?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 11:09 AM

^^^ I didn't mean, the Prize is 'the what'

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 11:10 AM

rob- I remember as a 12 year-old, looking at the box art for the movie at the video store and thinking 'I must see this movie.'

Posted by: Fjorder at December 19, 2008 11:12 AM

benson, that is disgusting. Why don't they do something more civilized, like in Japan, and offer her used panties in vending machines?

BRG, it was maybe six weeks ago. I think the home was on Remsen. I don't even recall what we bet - drinks perhaps? DIBS, do you know?

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 11:14 AM

six weeks ago...let me see ;)

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 11:16 AM

I'm loving the snow!!!

I actually enjoy the first shovelling out. Subsequent ones, not so much. Good exercise, however. Do you think we'll get 3"-6", as predicted?

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 11:16 AM

How much does she actually contribute to charities out-of-pocket instead of auctioning off her snott?

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 11:17 AM

benson/BRG, has your "Friday Fedders Face-Off" been scheduled for a specific time today or are you playing it by ear?

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 11:19 AM

The loser was going to have to organize the next stoner piss up...not really a "loser" task in my mind. I do think we pick another venue for next time though.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 11:19 AM

Montrose, be careful shoveling if it's built up. Seriously, it's the cause of many heart attacks and is one of the most dangerous activities one can do (second only to posting repeatedly on Brownstoner). Even someone of your youthful age should be cautious.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 11:21 AM

"Scarlett Johansson announced on the Jay Leno show that she has put up a used tissue on E-Bay"

I am going to run a counter-auction on eBay. I will spit on Scarlett Johansson, and will donate the proceeds to the charity of the winner's choice. I will then document the event and upload a video to YouTube under the title, The Scarlett Loogie.

Posted by: SnarkSlope at December 19, 2008 11:21 AM

MM...one of the few times I see all of my neighbors out at the same time is when we are shovelling snow together. I'm going to miss this one unfortunately as I'll be on the 5:10 train to Philly. Brooklyn streets (the ones with brownstones) look so beautiful when the snow is falling.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 11:21 AM

"I do think we pick another venue for next time though."
Definitely. Someone strongly suggested Smith Street. Others said BedStuy. Maybe Clinton Hill? I think somewhere other than Park Slope as we did that already.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 11:22 AM

We'll likely get a better class of people too :)

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 11:25 AM

Snark;

I'll open the bidding at $100. Now this is an event I would love to see!!

Biff: biding our time.

Posted by: benson at December 19, 2008 11:25 AM

SNOW!!!!!! Yippy....I hope it sticks. I want to play in it.

"benson/BRG, has your "Friday Fedders Face-Off" been scheduled for a specific time today or are you playing it by ear?"

Biff…..we play it by ear.
Actually, I'm going to do that with everything in life. I sometimes, tend to over analyze things and get ahead of situations. It complicates things. I’ll let it be and see where things go. Maybe, they’ll take a turn for the better and the unexpected.
Benson, are you on? ;)

"I do think we pick another venue for next time though."
Ooh, but the bathrooms at Union Hall were unisex!

I’m looking for the bet, btw.

Biff, I have an ergonomic shovel. Although I do confess, it's hard to use one handedly, while negotiating my walker. Thank goodness for those tennis balls on the legs. In my advancing decreptitude, one can't be too careful.

Ah, misspent youth!

My landlord makes me shovel the snow. I love doing it tho'. Hate the ergonomic shovel- doesn't work for me.

FYI- the Scarlett Johansson thing was done as a joke by her and Leno (what?! Am I the only one who bid on the grilled cheese sandwich with the face of Jesus?). But truly scary- they already had bids of over 2000$.

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 11:55 AM

bxgrl...your landlord must be a real pip.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 11:57 AM

"My landlord makes me shovel the snow."
Your landlord sounds like a creep!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 11:58 AM

bxgrl...does she call you "bitter renter" too?? I hope people like that aren't allowed to post on brownstoner. What could someone like that ever have to offer us??

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 12:00 PM

Yes- it's true (SOB)!! They threatened to hang my cat up by its thumbs and make my sister eat Ex-lax for a week!! Horrible. Horrible.

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 12:02 PM

I'm used to the ergonomic shovel, after all this time. It has a long handle, and since I'm tall, I find it easier. I also have a regular shovel, which I only use to break ice on the sidewalk, that one is just a backache waiting to happen.

I take it slow, no speed records, or how-much-snow-can-I-lift contests, here. While it may be bitter irony that my house kills me at last, I don't plan on making it easy.

I know Bxgrl's landlord. Usually the snow is already shovelled before bxgrl "volunteers" to do it.

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 12:05 PM

she called me not-bitter-enough renter (I don't see that at all, dammit! I'm bitter!! grumble...grumble...).

And....and....she refers to WIKI for EVERYTHING! Oops- sorry....have to go. She just threw the shovel through my door.

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 12:06 PM

Bxgrl;

If it was done as a joke, then how did it end up on e-bay? Don't give Scarlett so much credit. She got exactly what she wanted from this deal: publicity.

Posted by: benson at December 19, 2008 12:07 PM

Damn, I hate when work gets in the way of my Open Thread hijinks.

BRG, thanks for the lookup. Anyone know if 22 Remsen has sold? Mr. B?

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 12:07 PM

so much for the old Xmas spirit, benson :-)

I heard that MM. All you curmudgeonly homeowner types stick together. Whereas I, the sainted tenant, am much put upon and sad.....

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 12:09 PM

benson...that's why Johnny Carson finally called it quits on the Tonight Show. he saw it becoming nothing more than a venue for every actors' most recent movie and need for publicity. There was less and less time for what matters....carnac, Rickles, Mutual of Omaha guy's animals. The stuff we grew up on. Now its just this kind of publicity shit every night.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 12:10 PM

“bxgrl...does she call you "bitter renter" too?? I hope people like that aren't allowed to post on brownstoner. What could someone like that ever have to offer us??”

Bxgrl…your landlord is a she? Well, that’s even worse. She’s probably on of those transplants for another country, getting rich from renters, with no real love for the community. Sending all her money over seas to fund the McMansion she’s building in her native country.
You don’t live in a Feder house, do you? That type of landlord is prone to find those attractive.

While you’re shoveling snow, she’s sipping Chardonnay and getting a pedicure while her lap dog is eating caviar.
You know what you can tell her to do with that shovel?!?!?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 12:13 PM

Biff...if you'd read all the threads instead of posting without regard you would have seen that I posted that its still listed with Sotheby's for $7.3MM

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 12:20 PM

Well, the upside is that its a beautiful old townhouse with enormous bay windows and 2 fireplaces. who among us would not put up with such terrible abuse to have one of those? I mean, really, having to use an outhouse isn't so bad (no indoor plumbing). I mean, once she hooked up the little outdoor heater for it. and I can cook in the fire pit (great for luaus in the summer too!) Rain's a problem but she lent me her umbrella :-)

Yes, for my entire trip home. That's when it stopped and had a closer look and noticed the name.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 12:41 PM

Perhaps the lynching part is specifically not PC in this case but I couldn't resist:

As wll, given current events, the name of the group is just as bad....

The landlord's here to visit
They're blasting disco down below
Sez, "I'm doubling the rent
'Cos the building's condemned
You're gonna help me buy city hall"

But we can, you know we can
We can, you know we can
Let's lynch the landlord man

I tell them turn on the water
I tell 'em turn on the heat
Tells me 'All you ever do is complain'
Then they search the place when I'm not here

But we can, you know we can
Let's lynch the landlord
Let's lynch the landlord
Let's lynch the landlord man

There's rats chewin' up the kitchen
Roaches up to my knees
Turn the oven on, it smells like Dachau, yeah
Till the rain pours through the ceiling

We can, you know we can
Let's lynch the landlord, man.

The "I wish" was in answer to that.

BRG, pay attention: Elitist (thanks,Benson) Pompous Black Asshat (shout out to the What) Landlady From Hell (as per bxgrl). Thats EPBALFH, or epbalf. I think that's a Tolkien character.

"Besides if I had to shovel snow for MM, it would have to be done in an aesthetically pleasing manner that would be in line with the LPC. Feh!"

LOL! That would be me....I'll come shovel for you MM. The little snow piles will be identically sized, and placed only in the most aesthetically pleasing locations, and I'll bring my classic 1880s snow shovel with the original wood handle! And the little lines of snow left behind would be swept aside to 'smooth' it out.

Kidding...although I am an extremely detail-oriented perfectionist.

EPBALFH - oh, good g*d! I can't keep up! I finally figure out that I'm a PCHA, and now you go one step further with this!

Hilarious, Dave. I keep seeing Eddie Murphy in SNL days, "kill my landlord,"
Not that I would. I sincerely adore mine (What can I say- she's standing right here watching me type this in).

MM- you need to give your tenants good equipment and tools. How can they expected to clean just with hankies? (Sheesh- is there a bit of the orphan/workhouse ethic going on here?)

bxgrl, with your description, it sounds like you have more of a slumlord than a landlord. It's just awful.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 12:53 PM

Dave, the rim shot feature programed into the open thread is going off like an Tek 9 on Stuyvesant St. You certainly are feeling your oats today.

Bxgrl's out by the coal shute picking up spillage for her small fireplace in her garret. Very La Boheme. I approve.

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 12:53 PM

Must go- I am called to the baronial landlord suite to wear my fingers down to the knuckle cooking our mid day repast.

Cobblehiller- I'm nutso about details in my computer work but when it comes to shoveling snow I'll be building castles and snowmen and effigies of LFH's :-) (asymmetry is my middle name).

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 12:54 PM

"Now we know two useless, full-of-themselves Canadian Asshats!!!!!!!"
You're on a roll, Dave. Please don't stop!

"Not that I would. I sincerely adore mine (What can I say- she's standing right here watching me type this in)."
Okay, this landlady/tenant relationship is getting weirder...You two share an apt and a computer??
Does your landlady force you to only post positive things about her?

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 12:54 PM

Stuyvesant ST.????????????????? Coming from the all-knowing, elitist, self proclaimed archivist of all Brooklyn history???

ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 12:56 PM

"Will she do what?"
Your Ed Hardy.

"Hopefully whatever I want her to do!"
By the looks of it you might have to share her.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 12:56 PM

BRG...I was once referred to as Biff's "wingman" back in the old faded type guest days. I'll keep that guy busy while he's working on the girl.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 12:58 PM

"I'll keep that guy busy while he's working on the girl."
Thanks DIBS, it's great how you're always willing to take one for the team.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 1:00 PM

MM- did you mention my ragged raiment consisting of shredded garments from the last 100 years and the pathetic worn gloves without fingers? Sniff? It's tough lying on the eviscerated chaise lounge, coughing (can I put the expectorant on ebay and raise money for charity, ya think?) and the landlord has allowed me one piece of coal for the week.

Posted by: bxgrl at December 19, 2008 1:02 PM

"I'll keep that guy busy while he's working on the girl."

Biff...I think you need to do a re-write on this....and be all inclusive!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 1:02 PM

NOOOOOOO, we do not share an apartment, or a computer. Let's get that straight in all the possible parmutations possible.

Whoops, you got me on that one, Dave. Let's amend that to Usually, For All Intents And Purposes, All Knowing.....

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 1:03 PM

Shouldn't you be out there shoveling NOW bxgrl.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 1:03 PM

Dave, I have one thing to say about those boots...aaiieeee!

(I have ONE pair of UGG boots...and they may get worn today!)

Oops, I thought DIBS said "girls"

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 1:06 PM

"Shouldn't you be out there shoveling NOW bxgrl."
Yes, your landlady wants to get on the computer.

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 1:06 PM

I'm surprised she allows computers in the building. next thing you know, there'll be air conditioners popping out the widows and walls.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 1:08 PM

I think air conditioners popping out of widows is kinda gross. Very "Saw" or "Nightmare on Elm Street". I wouldn't think those types of films would appeal to you, Dave, being the man of sophistication and taste that you are.

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 1:11 PM

Bxgrl is manually cranking up the hard drive.

Don't tempt me to post the lyrics to "Sympathy For The Devil", MM

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 1:16 PM

BRG;

OK, here is something we can agree on wrt Fedders housing. I know the type of landlord of which you speak, and agree about that!! How about that?!?! I will say, however, that I think this type of landlord is generally restricted to the southern parts of the Borough.

Hey, I once was a landlord myself. There is a flip side to the story. My tenant was a "professional New York City tenant", if you know what I mean. She lived in the apartment for 40 years, and acted like SHE owned the place. Her bedroom was right above mine, and if she didn't approve of the way I ran the place, she'd drag her bed across the floor to keep me awake.

I shoveled my own snow, and heaven help me if I was delayed at work: my tenant was ready with a lawsuit in the wings.

DIBS: Johny Carson and Don Rickles: now THAT was entertainment. I went to see Don Rickles about 1.5 years ago out at Westbury, and it was great. He's slowed down alot, but still can run rings around most folks.

Posted by: benson at December 19, 2008 1:20 PM

bxgrl, a smell a potential entrepreneurial opportunity here. How about giving guided tours of your place, a la the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, to tourists and locals to let them gawk at the deplorable living conditions certain bitter renters in the city have to endure?

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 1:22 PM

This has been fun, but duty calls. Gotta get some work in before the weekend, or I'll be looking for coal, as well as sticks for the stove. Maybe the snow will bring down a couple of decent sized branches. Later!

Posted by: Montrose Morris at December 19, 2008 1:24 PM

Benson...it was a joke on my part...I knew who bxgrl's slumlord was.

"I shoveled my own snow, and heaven help me if I was delayed at work: my tenant was ready with a lawsuit in the wings."

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Alaska state troopers have arrested the mother of Bristol Palin's boyfriend on drug charges.
Sherry L. Johnston was arrested Thursday after troopers served a search warrant on a Wasilla home. The 42-year-old Johnston has been charged with six felony drug counts.
Troopers did not identify the drug involved in a brief mention on the agency's Web site.
Johnston is the mother of 18-year-old Levi Johnston. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP nominee for vice president, announced in September that her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, was pregnant and Johnston was the father.
Sherry Johnston was released from jail in Palmer on $5,000 bail.

That was your grammatical error BRG...you forgot to change the verb when you changed women from plural to singular. But I wouldn't nit pick.

That Bay Ridge listing you posted in the Open house thread was really magnificent. So, all your errors today and along with your personality issues will be overlooked.

Posted by: daveinbedstuy at December 19, 2008 2:45 PM

"I can't correct everything of Biff's...It's a hopeless cause."
Exactly. You would have to know spelling and grammar in order to be able to correct another's writing.

So as not to hijack the OHP thread, I'll state the comments here:

"And granted there isn’t lot of open houses in Bay Ridge"
...there AREN'T

"Mr. B, next time please feature a better house."
But then it wouldn't be in Bay Ridge!

"I wouldn’t mind seeing some of the multi-million dollar homes on here."
See comment above.

"This one makes the nabe look very schlocky."
The house AND you make the nabe look very schlocky.
Wow, Neighborhood Hypersensitivity Syndrome at it's worst.

"That was your grammatical error BRG...you forgot to change the verb when you changed women from plural to singular. But I wouldn't nit pick."
DIBS, if we nit picked everything BRG posted, we wouldn't have time for any other comments.

"That Bay Ridge listing you posted in the Open house thread was really magnificent."
How bad a case of NHS must one have when they feel the need to post other homes in their neighborhood because their 'hoods Open House Pick is so pathetic?

"So, all your errors today and along with your personality issues will be overlooked."
That's a lot to overlook, DIBS.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 2:52 PM

"But then it wouldn't be in Bay Ridge!"

"The house AND you make the nabe look very schlocky."

Watch it, Biff. Your own words will come back to haunt you!!

Too bad you'll never GROW UP!!

Posted by: bayridgegirl at December 19, 2008 3:00 PM

Listen to your teacher. Repeat after me:
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to go to school.
(I don't want to go to school)
Just to learn to be a parrot,
(Just to learn to be a parrot)
And recite a silly rule.
(And recite a silly rule)
If growing up means
It would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree,
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not I,
Not me!
Not me!
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to wear a tie.
(I don't want to wear a tie)
And a serious expression
(And a serious expression)
In the middle of July.
(In the middle of July)
And if it means I must prepare
To shoulder burdens with a worried air,

I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me,
Not I,
Not me!
So there!
Never gonna be a man,
I won't!
Like to see somebody try
And make me.
Anyone who wants to try
And make me turn into a man,
Catch me if you can.
I won't grow up.
Not a penny will I pinch.
I will never grow a mustache,
Or a fraction of an inch.
'Cause growing up is awfuller
Than all the awful things that ever were.
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up,
No sir,
Not I,
Not me,
So there!

Wow, somebody must really be smitten with me to not only remember everything I say but to actually go all the way back to September 2 to dig up an old post of mine. It's very flattering.

On the other hand, I can't be bothered to go back a few days to the zinger DIBS hit you with regarding the fact you'll never grow up.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 3:17 PM

Owww...

Just got done shoveling mine, and my two elderly neighbors stoops and sidewalks.

Last time there was a snowstorm I was in Vegas while my husband was left to fend for himself. I figured I'd win some major brownie points if I got it done before he gets home.

It's so pretty out there!

how much has stuck in Brooklyn THL??

I'm headed to Philly and won't get it done but I see from the map that ice mix is coming fast and rain behind it

thanks

“Wow, somebody must really be smitten with me to not only remember everything I say but to actually go all the way back to September 2 to dig up an old post of mine. It's very flattering.”

You then must be really smitten with ‘the what’, because you’ve previously gone back and dug up some of his posts and cited them. Shall I remind you? ‘The What’ must be very flattering….to you!!

As of 3:45pm, 50% of your posts today reference me, while 32% of my posts reference you! Would you like a spreadsheet?
ARE YOU SMITTEN with ME?!?!?!

Now grow up and come to Bay Ridge!

cobblehiller, did you make any snowpeople with half-me?

Half-me is cobblehiller's little one. I know you're obsessed, but it's not all about me.

"You then must be really smitten with ‘the what’, because you’ve previously gone back and dug up some of his posts and cited them. Shall I remind you? ‘The What’ must be very flattering….to you!!"
Compared to you, The What is extremely flattering to me!

"As of 3:45pm, 50% of your posts today reference me, while 32% of my posts reference you!"
Yes, clearly you had many more spelling errors that I needed to point out than I had. Plus, you were gone half the time looking for 3 month old posts of mine.

"Would you like a spreadsheet?"
No, I would prefer you spread on a sheet.

By the way, did you see how slopefarm totally gave us up in the "Apartment Too Cold" Forum post? Go have a gander...

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 3:54 PM

Yup I'm in Jersey. We got about the same. About 3 inches but very heavy and wet. When I was finishing the icy snow started coming down and now it looks like rain. Hopefully the rain will melt some of it by the time you all get home from work. From what I can tell it's not freezing up as it hits the ground.

Posted by: TownhouseLady at December 19, 2008 3:56 PM

”Compared to you, The What is extremely flattering to me!”
Those words will come back to haunt YOU!

“Plus, you were gone half the time looking for 3 month old posts of mine.”
Just today’s posts, Biff!! 50% and climbing.

No, I would prefer you spread on a sheet.
Yes, because it’s all about YOU and I’m a cheap slutty whore…Pig!

You're a cheap, slutty (and you forgot "effortless") whore and now you're calling yourself a pig???

I cannot condone this kind of abuse, even if you're directing it at yourself. I am now going to have to defend your honour. She offered her honour, I honoured her offer and all night long I was on her and off her.

I have some emails to finish off now.

cobblehiller has no 'half-me's...cobblehiller's sister has 2 'half-her's. and no, sadly, they were at school today, and now it's slush. maybe next time -which it seems we will have this winter! : )

Posted by: cobblehiller at December 19, 2008 4:41 PM

I've been wondering that toooo Dave.

Posted by: cobblehiller at December 19, 2008 4:58 PM

Sorry cobblehiller, I thought you've used the half-me reference before. Perhaps it was THL or one of the other regulars.

I think 11217 had a nervous breakdown, to be honest. Or maybe he looked in the mirror and noticed a hair out of place and has been fixing it for the past week.

Posted by: Biff Champion at December 19, 2008 5:02 PM

I think he was on the verge of a breakdown what with that big fight the day before and then the whole "Connelly (sp?) Mansion Affair" I wonder where burned out brownstoners go.
