Break-In at Kush

Holiday cheer didn't last long on Putnam Avenue. On Friday night, someone broke in to Kush, one of the older restaurants in the area. Someone was sleeping in the back and scared the intruder away, but not before he had busted the window and put another smear on the notorious corner's record. When will it end. GMAP

this is very sad. I love this restaurant. the owners are amazing people and definitely did not deserve this. (not that anyone would.) Why can't the local precinct clean up this corner. it has been terrible for years. small children caught in crossfire, drive bys, beatings. when will it finally cross the line to a point that they take notice and deal with it once and for all?

going through a plate glass window (not tempered) seems bold and atypical for a break-in no? unless youre out of your mind or there's something worthwhile you KNOW is in there.

this just sucks. best restaurant in the neighborhood, nicest people working there. fortunately it's only a window.

Really sad and disturbing news. Goldie the culprit is most likely out of his / her mind...vraiment dommage.

This is sad news. My wife and I love this restaurant. Everyone is so nice there. I'm just glad that nobody was hurt.

When will it end? When low-income housing ends!

Big Jugs, this kind of stuff will end when (1) mentally unstable people are given proper treatment and not released on the street and (2) underground economies and gangs are eliminated or minimized.
Between crack and Reagan sending tons of mental patients into the streets, that's where a lot of this mess comes from.

that's a shame. Sammy still owes me for making those menus in the window though. Who was sleeping in the back? I'm glad no one got hurt
