Streetlevel: Ethiopian Imminent on Fulton

747-Fulton-Street-1108.jpg
At 747 Fulton Street, right next door to Greene Grape Provisions, a new Ethiopian restaurant is about to open. Looks cute, so far. Don't know anything more about it. Do you? GMAP

Ethiopian should do very well in Fort Greene. There is a void since Keur n'Deye left. I've never been to the Ethiopian place on 4th Ave - not very convenient location for me.

And what was in this space before? Was this where the New Orleans restaurant was? I could never figure that place out.

Yes, this was Cafe? Restaurant? Orleans before. Keur N' Deye was a few doors to the left. I also couldn't figure Orleans out & had never eaten there, though I'd heard some mixed reviews about the food and service. I think an Ethiopian restaurant can and will do well here. Can't wait till it's open!

Looks like a new Turkish place as well across Fulton Street. Deniz (or something similar).
