Putting the Pier in Northside Piers

The developers behind the large new buildings going up on the Williamsburg waterfront are on the hook to build out the public space along the river. Schaefer Landing has been done for some time and the land in front of The Edge is still just a staging ground for construction gear. Next door at Northside Piers, however, a pier with some kind of modern pagoda is just getting the finishing touches.
