Development Watch: 392 St. Marks

In May, we asked if Scarano's 392 St. Marks in Prospect Heights would be resurrected this year. Well, we've got two months left to go in the year, and we're thinking from the looks of this photo that the answer is no. Work was going fine back in 2005, but was halted in 2007 from noise complaints. Their Stop Work Order was removed in January, but seems nothing's happened since. No signs of life save for a bit of graffiti, viewable on the jump.

Nice wielding of Occam's razor.

Why thank you SnarkSlope. That's a compliment that more people should aspire to here on brownstoner. And now I've ruined it by adding a further comment.

Yet another one of Scarano's stillbirths. Thanks again, from the PH/CH community.
