Baltic House Sold Out

Well, they did it. As of a week ago, all nine units at 360 Baltic between Smith and Hoyt, aka "Baltic House," are sold or in contract. The broker we spoke with said they sold for "very close to asking price" at this five-story, 14,000-square-foot building designed by Isaac & Stern Architects (and billed as half a block from Brooklyn's "shopping and dining Mecca"). The last three units here include a two-bed, two-bath for $945,000 and two three-bed, two-baths for $935,000. Just in time, right?

Wow. Those developers must be thanking their lucky stars!

If this is true then props to them. Proof that Brooklyn newcomers don't shop around much and have way too much money on their hands.
" (and billed as half a block from Brooklyn's "shopping and dining Mecca")."
Yeah, in 2001. Its also as half a block from Brooklyn's housing project mecca.
But like I said, if they truly sold through then good for them.

That is great news - for me at least as I live on the block.
(So be polite people and keep your snobby comments to yourself).
But I am a bit skepical that soldout. For quite awhile 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the 'penthouse' 2 bedroom were only ones listed in contract.
Now you go on the site and they don't even list the 1 bedroom duplexes or the others. They show only 2 listings total- both in contract and they are the same ones that went into contract early.

Oh, man, you have to have a giant set of balls to live next to the projects. The fact that it sold speaks volumes though
