Streetlevel: New Salon in Boerum Hill

The salon we told you would open in Barbara Koz Paley’s Atlantic Gardens has finally opened. The Sanctuary Salon launched a few weeks ago at 527 Atlantic between 3rd and 4th Avenues. It's an Aveda salon, and until Wednesday they're offering a 50% discount on services; those include "bridal consultation" and "eyelash application."

Lovely block. Atlantic b/w 3rd & 4th has been a nightmare of sorts but gets better each passing month. Rents must be lighter than other areas of Atlantic and, as such, will draw more cool shops. I believe a Halstead is opening here too. Too bad. This is a great area thought with easy access to all subways and 5th Avenue. Property prices here should continue to increase in value.
