They all seem like bargains next to Remsen!

1. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS $10,800,000
88 Remsen Street GMAP (left)
Two buildings and a whole lotta dough. The main, five-story house includes a 2,000-sf, ground-floor rental and about a gazillion bedrooms, while the adjacent carriage house has a two-car garage and another apartment. Deed recorded 10/23. More detail here.

2. BOROUGH PARK $2,100,000
1649 49th Street GMAP (right)
4,770-sf, 3-family built around 1901 that was subject to a major revamp a few years ago, according to Property Shark. Deed recorded 10/21.

3. PARK SLOPE $1,780,000
825 Union Street GMAP
The one listing we found for this says that it was once asking $2,000,000. (When it was on the market, exactly, or for how long, is unclear.) 4,800-sf, four-family townhouse. Deed recorded 10/22.

4. CARROLL GARDENS $1,705,000

Seriously - at 1800 sq. ft. that Carroll Gardens house went for $1000 per sq. ft!

What's up with the Union St place? Cheap because it's an investment property? Or does it need a gut reno as well?

The Clermont property was asking $2 million with Location, Location. http://www.3location3.com/open-realty/listingview.php?listingID=599&PHPSESSID=00b082823bc1d72f0f563d46c8fe7091.

Selling @ $333/ sf for 5 stories of brownstone is not bad given the current market.
