Facade Revealed at 4th and Warren

Last month, we reported that the Scarano-designed 110 4th Avenue had topped out. This morning, a tipster snapped this photo revealing the 49-unit project's skin. Looks like it'll blend right in with the rest of the new 4th Avenue buildingsand that ain't sayin' much.

Jon,
Why not wait to make you idiotic, senseless comments about that which you know nothing about until the wraps come down and the finish goes on. This building and the one he designed on Carroll Street are not like the others on the Street which to the trained eye is readily apparent by the massing.
This developer is the same guy that did the job with Robert Scarano at 326 State street which everyone loved.
So Cool your jets.

There's a new building going up at 7th St and 4th Avenue that is especially attractive, IMHO, compared to some of the other new construction.

Conversion of 4th Ave is not going to happen overnight or with every new building. The fact that we see less tire shop and empty lots is good. More tax, more residents, is good for Brooklyn in general. 4th Ave is/was a industrial section with not much industrial business.
Gowanusguru - I think that is the Argyle - which actually looks pretty good. I was hesitant at first (only when the walls where up) but it seems to have gotten a lot better. Or at least much better than Novo or Crest.

i think it looks pretty good for the neighborhood and I live close by. does anyone know if it's now changed to rental due to the condo market crashing? to the person that doesn't know about 4th ave, why are you even on brownstoner? are you kidding? come on out and we will buy you a beer.
best,
Lee
