Work Begins at McCarren Park Pool
A tipster sent in this photo to show us that some sectors of the city are unfazed by the current economic situation: construction has begun at the McCarren Park Pool.

Sigh, I'm going to miss sitting on my stoop, smoking a cigarette watching all the hipsters going to and from the free concerts @ The Pool.
